Load the whole trip into Google Maps or your GPS
Two ways, depending on what you drive with. The KML carries every campground, venue and the road route as layers you can switch on and off; the GPX is the same for a Garmin or RV navigator. Either way, the pins are campground entrances, not town centres.
On a computer, open google.com/maps/d and choose Create a new map.
In the layer panel click Import and pick the KML you just downloaded. Three layers appear: stops, venues, route.
On your phone the map shows up in Google Maps under Saved → Maps, signed in to the same account. Tap any pin for directions.
Google Maps caps a directions link at nine waypoints, which is why the drive is split into a northbound and a homebound link. Each stop in the list also has its own Navigate link. Road distances come from the OpenStreetMap road network; the VIA Rail line is drawn schematically, not from the surveyed track.
Progress updates automatically each day. Two pins are approximate and say so: the Tundra Buggy Lodge, which Frontiers North positions on the tundra each season, and Spud Plains Farm, placed from its legal land description. The Pas Exhibition Grounds pin sits at the town centre — the entrance isn't on any map service, so go by the parkers.
